Even though this happened in NORTH CAROLINA it is an example of a quintissential visit to DMV.
One of the more frustrating aspects of going to the Department of Transportation / Division of Motor Vehicles DOT DMV, waiting in line, etc., only to be turned away because you don’t have the right documentation.

warning.. if you don’t have clear title.. as in, there is a lien holder on the title.. its NOT your car to sell until that lien is payed off or the proper papers issued to show the lien is payed off from the Lien holder..
